Hello all! I am currently in the preliminary stages of organising a suite of tournaments this summer. This season is generally a dry patch of events, and I thought it would be an interesting experience to organise a tour-like event.

The details are as follows: We will be hosting on campus, (hopefully) 4 different blitz tournaments with a variety of formats, all with a certain cash prize. What is different however is that each event will carry, for 1st-10th place, a certain amount of points. Whoever scores the most points over all 4 events, will win the Grand Prize (a large cash prize)! These details are subject to change. Provisional Points System: 1st - 15 points 2nd - 12 points 3rd - 8 points 4th-10th - 7-1 points. At least one of the events will be an 18-round Blitz tournament. Depending on my ability to organise these things, there will also be cameras and some filming. Depending on interest, I may try to make these FIDE-rated, although that invariably increases costs.

I hope this interests everybody. I thought I would get ahead of myself, as I have almost booked 2 of the venues.
