Each year, the ICU are allowed to send 3 players to the British Championships. The selection committee have issued the following recommendations for picking players to send to the British Championships.

Although this is rather late, anybody who is interested in playing there this year, should email the secretary before midday, Friday 24 June 2011. A decision will be announced on Friday evening.

If the current Irish champion, or any of the current provincial champions wish to play in the event, then the ICU will pay their entry fee. If other players are chosen, then they will have to pay their own entry.
