President Reagan
Was also known as de Burca. A friendly and genial man. The last time I heard of him was during President Reagan's visit to Galway when he returned his honarary degree to the National University in protest at their awarding one to Reagan. In a radio interview at the time he quoted from the well known rhyme: As I lay there in the gutter, Thinking thoughts I could not utter, I thought I heard a passing lady say, You can know the man who boozes, By the company he chooses, And with that the pig got up and walked away.
