Finally the June congress draws to a close and it was a wonderful weekend of chess! After the countless games of chess (well, it is countable if you take the time), minor incidents, a few handbags at dawn and various other moments, a great weekend was had by all.
Amid all of the amazing games and results, one result stands above the rest: Pat Coleman with a perfect 6/6. He started round 1 from table 1 and never left if all weekend ("Its MY table!!!!"). Well done Pat on a fantastic result.

A VERY VERY sincere thank you to all who participated in the June congress from all in Drogheda Chess Club. We love hosting you each year as we try to make the tournament bigger and better.
