A number of players have told me that the Bunratty Castle Hotel is full for the Bunratty Chess Festival, it is not, at least not yet. The hotel are not accepting "non-chess" guests for the Chess weekend so if you want to book a room, you have 2 choices;
- Ring the hotel during normal business hours and ask for reservations, and tell them you are with the Chess or
- Send them an email ( [email protected] ) requesting a room, again explaining that you are with the Chess
Please note that you will not be able to use their normal on-line booking service as you will be told there are no rooms available, also, if you don't identify yourself as being with the Chess event, you will be told that there are no rooms available.
At the moment, there are just over 20 rooms left, so I'd move fast if you want one of them.
