As part of International Chess Day and the 100th Anniversary of FIDE, the Drogheda Chess Club is participating in a global Guinness World Record attempt for the most chess games played in 24 hours.

Taking place in Scotch Hall Shopping Centre from 10am to 5pm, all games played in this public event will count towards the record.

All are welcome to come along and join in on the fun!
