Tim Harding from TCD is the 2015 Irish Veterans Champion having achieved a score of 4.5/5 in the Championships staged in the Boyne Valley Hotel, Drogheda over the weekend. While he was the highest rated player participating in the event, he started cautiously with a draw in round one against 2nd seed Paul Cassidy from Dun Laoghaire. However, he quickly got into his stride and was undefeated in his remaining 4 matches. Pat Twomey from CCYMS was second with 4 wins from 5 matches and Paul Cassidy was third with 3 points.
The weekend event was controlled by Andrew Thomson and presentation took place immediately after the conclusion of the final round on Sunday evening.
