The Irish Chess Championships take place Saturday July 5 to Sunday July 13 in central Dublin.
- Irish Championship
- A 9-round open swiss with the highest placed Irish player declared champion. Five GMs already confirmed. Incorporating the Irish Women's Championship. Minimum rating 1900 (with exceptions at the controller's discretion for juniors and women). 7100 prize fund.
- Irish Intermediate Championship
- 5-round swiss, 1500-1900, July 5-6.
- Irish Junior Championship
- 5-round swiss, 1500 and below, July 5-6.
- Irish Open Weekender
- 5-round swiss, unrestricted entry, July 12-13.
