All tournament controllers/arbitors and players are advised that from 1st July 2005, FIDE has made some changes to the Laws of Chess. The most significant change relates to the recording of moves as stated in Article 8.1 where all moves must now be made on the board before recording them on the scoresheet - ".....It is forbidden to write the moves in advance, unless the player is claiming a draw.....".
