The Irish Chess Union

We’ve learned the sad news of John Crowley passing away recently. Our condolences to his family and friends. John was a member of Rathmines Chess Club. He was our Rating Officer after Fred Harte and was very diligent in that role. In more recent years he was involved with the Irish Braille Association, accompanying players to the Braille olympiad.
