The ICU is delighted to announce that Garry Kasparov has accepted its invitation to visit Ireland at the end of the month. The main focus of his visit will be to meet delegates from Ireland and neighbouring Federations as part of his campaign to be elected President of FIDE in the FIDE elections in August. However the ICU Executive is also working very hard to organize other events whilst Kasparov is here. Further details of these will be announced shortly when the final arrangements have been made.
