The ICU International Selections Committee (ISC) for the 2011-12 period comprising Shannon Clements (Chairperson), Seamus Duffy, John Joyce, John Loughran, Gerry O'Connell and Darko Polimac, shall meet shortly after the official rating list is published on this website in mid-May.

Player selection for all up-coming events as required by the ICU Executive will follow existing guidelines published on this website, comprising:

• Terms of Reference for the Selection Committee
• Eligibility Criteria
• Junior Eligibility Criteria

Selections will be made using the post-May-ratings versions of:

• Weighted Average Ratings
• Top Juniors

Only current ICU members as listed elsewhere on this website shall be deemed eligible for consideration.

In the event that the existing guidelines and ratings identify potential "multiple" candidates e.g. with same the rating, the ISC will apply further fixed criteria. These will have been voted upon by the ISC members at its meetings and will ensure that the members will not be required to vote for individual candidate selection. Any proposed amendments to the existed published documents will be submitted to the ICU Executive for approval.

The ISC shall submit a selection report to the ICU Executive within 1 week of meeting following the publication of the May ratings. On approval by the ICU Executive the report will be published here and qualifying candidates for each event will be notified.
