The selection committee report for the Glorney is now out. The Junior officer will be in contact in the next few days, but parents can lighten his load by contacting him first.

This year the event takes place in Daventry, Northamptonshire, England from 17-21 July. Games are played on 18th, 19th and 20th July. 4 nights accommodation will be required. The costs for B&B per night per room are: Single £48, Twin £61, Triple £74, Quad £87. There are only a small number of triples and quads available. Dinner is very likely to be £15 per adult and £7.50 for U16. We need to have room numbers by May 28th at the latest. The ICU will be giving 250€ per player to offset the costs of travel, food and accommodation.

There are a number of possibilities for transport: Fly to Bermingham, and then its about 40 minutes from there to Daventry. Take the boat to Holyhead (child return fare about 40€). From Holyhead, we can hire a bus to take us to and from Daventry. It costs £1000 for a 50 person bus, but I think it is cheaper for a 30 person bus. The cost will be divided between all the people taking the bus.

We have arranged trainers for the players. They are: David Fitzsimons, Karl McPhillips, Darko Polimac and Peter Cafolla. The players can select the coach that they prefer. If there is a more suitable coach, that you would prefer, please let us know.

Parents please stating if your child will take part, how you intend to get to Daventry, how many people will accompany your child, and what type of accommodation you require, and your preferred trainer. Parents of substitutes should also email the junior officer as we will know of any drop outs in the next week.
