The second in a series of coaching sessions by experienced coaches John Loughran (FIDE Instructor), Mark Allidine and Alice O'Gorman (TBC) current Irish Women's Champion, in Skerries. These alternate with rounds of the Fingal Open and will include analysis of some games from the Open. The first part of each session will be aimed at juniors and adult beginners/improvers who are given the first chance to interact while in the second more advanced part all may interact. Adults should attend both parts as the second part will build on the first. The sessions will be interactive, with those attending working in pairs over the board for part of the time. Schedule:

The fee is €10 per session for non-members (free for members) or €24 for three remaining sessions.

Coaching 1 will deal with some endgames involving Pawns only, Q + P, B + P and others.
Coaching 2 will include R endings, N+P endings and more advanced P endings.
