The Irish Chess Union are pleased to announce three all-female chess tournaments.

The first event takes place on 9th December in Kilmurry Lodge Hotel, Castletroy, Limerick from 2.00 – 5.30. There will be 5 rounds, the time control is 20 minutes per person, the event will not be rated and is open to ALL female chess players regardless of age, and rating. Although a separate event, we shall be using the same venue as the Limerick Rapidplays. This should ensure plenty of "chess company". The entry fee is €12. The second tournament will take place in The Bridge Centre, St. Mary's Road, Galway, on Sunday 20th January, again the same date as the Galway Rapidplays, and we hope to hold the third tournament in Dublin in February or March, time and venue to be arranged.
