The ICU regrets to announce that Eamon Keogh has resigned as FIDE delegate. We wish to thank Eamon for everything he did over the last six months, in particular inviting Garry Kasparov to visit Ireland, and the huge amount of work he put in organising this visit.

This creates a vacancy on the Executive, and so the Executive invites nominations for this position. The main duties of the job will be attending the FIDE and ECU meetings in Tromsø in August; applicants should note that the ICU does not pay travel expenses for such meetings. Applications should be sent to the Secretary on or before Saturday 3 May.
