At its meeting last Sunday, the Executive appointed Kevin O'Connell to fill the vacancy as FIDE/ECU delegate. The Executive also removed Bernard Palmer from the position of Membership Officer. Further information on this decision, for members only, is available here. It was decided not to appoint a replacement Membership Officer this late in the season; the Ratings Officer will maintain the members' database, and the Treasurer will deal with the financial side. Any members - or would-be members - who have any unresolved issues concerning membership should contact the Treasurer in the first instance.
