The Irish Chess Union

The ICU is pleased to announce that the Head of Delegation at the forthcoming Glorney-Gilbert International tournament, to be held in Scotland next month, will be Noel Keating.

Also, back in January the ICU announced the captains of the two Olympiad teams. Unfortunately Pat Fitzsimons has recently had to withdraw from the captaincy of the Open team, for family reasons. The ICU has appointed as the new captain, and Head of Delegation, Jonathan O'Connor. The ICU is very grateful to Jonathan for making himself available at such short notice, and at considerable personal inconvenience.
