Unfortunately the ICU regrets to announce that owing to problems with the implementation of many rules pertaining to the NCC and some unfortunate organizing problems the ICU executive decided by a majority democratic vote (Correction: it has since been pointed out that there was no formal proposal and seconder and thus it was a majority view but not a majority vote. This mistake was mine alone) that the best option available was that the NCC could not go ahead as planned but the 2015 event will now be held in June or later, and great care and efforts will be made to insure that the 2015 NCC can be the best event it can be.

This year’s 2015 NCC has been postponed until June or later, and will be held in Leinster with further details to follow. The weekend Open Team Tournament in Ennis this weekend will still be an ICU and Fide rated event.
