The Irish Chess Union

The Leinster Chess Union have decided to run the 2005 Leinster Championships over the Christmas period. The tournament will be held over 3 days, from Tuesday 27th December to Thursday 29th December 2005. The playing sections will be Masters (2000 & over), Majors (1600 - 1999), Challengers (1200 - 1599), Juniors (800 - 1199) and Novices (under 800 or unrated). The Masters will be FIDE rated and a generous prize fund is guaranteed (first prize will be €1000). A flyer, including entry form, will be made available later in the year.
