The Mick Germaine Cup competition for teams of junior players will be held on Sunday 16th February 2025 in the main hall of the Artane Beaumont Family Recreation Centre, Kilmore Road, Artane, Dublin 5, home of the Elm Mount Chess Club. Please note that the rating limit for entries has been increased to 1600 as this equates more closely to the limit that applied to the event under the old rating system.
Accordingly, players must be under 16 years of age on 16th February 2025 and have a rating of less than 1600 (ICU September 2024 published rating list refers) or be unrated.
