The Irish Chess Union

Jacob Flynn has decided not to put his name forward for re-election as ICU Secretary and has requested to vacate early so as to focus on his chess and his captaincy of the Women's Olympiad team. The Executive has accepted his withdrawal and thanks Jacob for his 3 seasons of dedicated service to the ICU and the Executive. We wish him the very best both in Samarkand and with the next stages of his chess journey.

Andrew Kelly has kindly agreed, and has been approved by the Executive, to serve as Secretary for the remainder of this season through to the AGM.
