From midnight on Tuesday 1st November, a PIN number will be required to login to (or register with) this site. Some sections of the site (news, clubs, calendar) are accessible to all, but others (games, articles, images, tournaments) can't be reached without logging in. Ordinarily, PIN numbers are obtained by joining the ICU and last from the beginning of one season until the end of the next year (e.g. 2005-09-01 to 2006-12-31).
In this first year of operation there will be a transition phase. The profiles of all existing web site members who have registered with an ICU number have been automatically updated with a PIN number which is valid until the end of 2005. These members will continue to be able to login even if they do not become members of the ICU. However, from the start of 2006 they will need a fresh PIN number which can only be obtained by joining.
From November 1st, people wishing to register with this site, or existing members who have not set an ICU number in their profile, will need to obtain a new PIN number by joining the ICU.
