In order to qualify as a FIDE arbiter, all applicants must first complete a FIDE Artibers course. They are often in far off places and in a differnet language, that can be a problem for most of us in Ireland who'd like to qualify for the title. However, there is a proposed FIDE arbiters course 29th and 30th October in the UK, very near Gatwick. Anyone seriously interested in attending, please contact as soon as possible.
