Jack Killane from Rathmines (on the right in the picture) is the new Irish Veterans Champion. He finished with 4/5 and is a worthy and popular champion among his peers. The competition in the Boyne Valley was friendly but always competitive. Jack was pushed all the way by Paul Cassidy who was the only other player to remain unbeaten over the weekend. He along with Pat Twomey came joint second in the competition. All the players would like to thank Andrew Thomson (on the left in the picture) for running and organising this years event and wish him a very Happy 80th Birthday on Wednesday next.
