The Leinster Chess Union has announced its programme of tournaments and leagues for children/youth over the winter 2011/12 season. Junior Leagues entries are now being invited. It is expected to run three Junior Leagues (Senior, Intermediate and Beginners) and teams will consist of 4 players. Leagues commence in November. Individual junior events are also being held over the season. The website provides full details including a Letter of Invitation to play in the Leagues, a detailed calendar of events and a lot of helpful information for players and parents/guardians.
