On Tuesday 10 April, Pat Fitzsimons wrote to Jonathan O'Connor, pointing out that three clear weeks notice has not been given for the EGM. As the meeting notice only went up on Monday 26 March, the soonest the meeting could take place would have been 17 April. As this notice period was not followed any decisions made at the meeting would have been null and void.
Therefore, the EGM on Sunday has been cancelled. As the call for the EGM was only made on 25th March, we will still be well within the 60 days specified by the constitution for holding an EGM. The committee will decide on Sunday when the new EGM will be held.
