The Irish Blitz Championship was held in the Alexander Hotel, Dublin, on Sunday 29 September, before the AGM. It was won (convincingly) by Killian Delaney, with 8 points out of 9. Second prize was won by David Murray, on 6½ points. The Junior Prize went to Conor O'Donnell (6 points), and the Grading Prize (under 1700) was shared by Bekim Davitt and Tom O'Gorman (5 points).
