We are late in hearing this but we have learned the sad news of Brian Thorpe's passing. Our condolences to his family and friends. Brian was a long-time ICU life member and, upon his retirement, Frank Scott & Mark Orr had penned articles for us on Brian's chess life & his 50 years in chess. May he rest in peace.
