The new ratings web site was completed ahead of schedule after nearly 4 years of work. It was used to publish the September rating list and then republish the January and May lists (originally produced under the old system). All information relating to ratings has been moved from www.icu.ie to ratings.icu.ie. An introduction to the features of the new site is available as are further articles on various particulars.

One of the changes brought about by the new system is that it is now possible for a tournament to be rated and the results published as soon as its report is received by the rating officer. Except for long-running tournaments (such as team leagues) and assuming controllers can upload their reports promptly, the ICU now has a more or less live rating system.
