The membership officer was replaced mid-season for not performing his duties well enough. This short note has been compiled by one of the two officers asked to take over his duties for the rest of the season.
2013-14 was a record in two senses. First for the total number of subscriptions (948) and second for the percentage of people paying online (95%). There has been a mostly upward trend in both for the last few years. See the table below.
Season | Total | Online |
---|---|---|
2013-14 | 948 | 95% |
2012-13 | 890 | 89% |
2011-12 | 890 | 82% |
2010-11 | 864 | 80% |
2009-10 | 803 | 72% |
2008-09 | 751 | 72% |
2007-08 | 798 | 71% |
2006-07 | 783 | 51% |
Paying online is more efficient and less error prone for the payer. The number of offline payers has reduced so much that there has been some talk this season of possibly absorbing manual payment processing into the treasurer's duties and doing away with the role of membership officer.
